DESERT AIR RACE.

FRENCH PILOT'S SUCCESS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) CAIRO, December 22. The 900 miles desert air race, the most gruelling test in the international air Derby, was won by Madame Daubree, whose 'plane was piloted by a Frenchmail. There were 10 British competitors, but of these only five started, the others being delayed by stormy weather.
