GAOL HIS HOME.
"The only home he has is gaol," said Detective-Sergeant O'Sullivan in the Police Court this morning, when George Ross, a carpenter, aged 59, appeared before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., charged with being an incorrigible rogue, having been previously convicted of being a rogue and vagabond. Accused pleaded guilty. "He was found at:three this morning asleep in a street, Mr. O'Sullivan. "He has no money, ho home, no friends and nowliere to gHe is only just out of gaol." Ross was remanded for a week for sentence! In the meantime, the Salvation Army authorities are to bo asked if they can do anything for him.
