CALCUTTA, December 14,

A grave increase in Communist activities has occurred iu India in the past few months.

Plans emanating from Moscow have been discovered for intensifying the subversive campaign against the British Government ,in India, including the organisation of strikes and nationalist student and peasant movements.

Endeavours are also T?eing made to undermine the loyalty of Indian troops. The most powerful Ked groups are in Calcutta and Bombay. Agitators are now endeavouring to develop the movement in the agricultural areas.
