SYDNEY, December 7,

Astonishing revelations are promised as the result of the action of detectives in taking samples from about 20 petrol pumps in the city and suburbs. The officers also secured samples from the companies which supply these bowsers. The Government analyst now is comparing the samples.

It is stated that an officer of one po'lice patrol was the victim of an attempt to run him down in a car.
