ROCKY NOOK CLUB. The final of the junior tournament yesterday at Rocky Nook bowling green was won by a West End rink (Casley, Cooper, White, Adams), which defeated Otaliuliu (Williams, Stanstield, Crawford, Hickson). Twelve teams competed. BUTCHER CUP. The second round of the Butcher Cup contest, between the Tauranga and Te Puke Bowling Clubs was played on the Tauranga Club's green. In continuation of the play for the Clothier Shield the Te Arolia Wednesday and Saturday teams met under electric light conditions on Wednesday evening. Victory went to' the Saturday teams by six games to one."
"MIXED" GAMES. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. The progress made in ladies' bowling was evident at a mixed rinks tournament held by the Otago Ladies' Bowling Association. This was the first occasion here on which T2 bowlers played together on one green.
DARGAVILLE PAIRS TOURNEY.
At the Dargavillc bowling green on Wednesday afternoon a pairs tourney was held. Seven rinks were engaged, five matches or seven heads being played. In the skips T) A. Williams, with 4 wins and 1 loss, was the victor. C. J. Bagby was runnerUD with 31 wins. In the leads Benton (Kaikohe). with 5 was the winner, with H. Kimber and C. N. Taylor, 31 wins, a tie for runner-up.
