ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.

PAPATOETOE BRANCH. j • - -• A successful concert was held last evening in the Papatoetoe Town Hall in aid of the Papatoetoe nursing division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Entertainment was given by Mesdames Milligan, Coles,, Smith, Sykes, Miss Stonex, Messrs. Reynolds, A. McSkimming and Don Blackie, Mr. and Mrs. Jury, Mr. Anderson and party, Misses Mercer, Rae, Garvey and Gaudie, and Mr. McLeod. A demonstration was given by the Onehunga Ambulance Division. Mr. C. J. Tunks, district commissioner, Mr. C. Lindsay, Mr. U. Hitchon and Mrs. G. Cammell, corps oifieers, and Superintendent C. Bassett, of the Onehunga nursing division, were present, and Mr. Tunks presented certificates to the junior cadets, and gave an address on the good work done by the brigade. He congratulated the Papatoetoe division on its activities.
