CRIES FOR MR. MacDONALD,

LONDON, December 6.

The Unemployment Bill was read a second time in the House of Commons last evening by 43ij votes to 81. Mr. George Lansbury was the last Opposition speaker in the debate, to which Mr. R. S. Hudson, Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour, responded. , Labour members greeted Mr. Hudson with loud cries of "Where is the Prime Minister?" and "He is a coward" from Mr. Seymour Cocks (Lab., Nottingham). The Deputy-Speaker reprimanded Mr. Cocks, and Mr. Hudson finally was allowed to conclude the debate.
