G.r.—Apply for a war pension. OLD-TIMER.—If the title to the land is issued under the Land Transfer Act, you have no claim whatsoever. You may; however, be entitled to claim the land if the title is under the deeds system. A.A.—Your rent should he 20 per cenfc less than the rout which would have been charged had your tenancy commenced on January 1. 1930. Probably your rent is more than 20 per cent below the rental of January, 1930, in which ' case you are entitled to no reduction. j.G.P.—The firm's right to sue will last for a further two years, but the delay would prejudice its chances of succeeding. If you can establish that the firm broke its contract you would succeed in your defence. ANXIOUS. —You should apply for relief under the Mortgagors' Belief Act if you cannot meet your interest. In the circumstances you mention you would, I think, get some measure of relief. O.A.P. —Your wife appears to be eligible for the pension. She may use the money as she likes when she receives it. HYDRANGEA.—There is no prohibition on such a marriage. ANXIOUS. —You may sell your house and buy another if you wish. HEDGE.—The Town Board is entitled to require you to cut the hedge to a specl : fled height where it obstructs the view. You may appeal to the court against any such order within 14 days of the order being made. Probably you could compromise with the board by offering to cut down to four feet for a distance of oO feet each way from the corner. i M.P. —It is too late to take any action, i It should have been done within six months of the hedge being planted, •
