OBITUARY.
MR. WILLIAM COPSEY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TE KUITI, Wednesday. A well-known figure in sport and friendly societies in the King Country, Mr. Wm. Copsey, died yesterday at Waikato Hospital. Mr. Copsey was president of the Maniapoto and King Country Rugby Unions for a period of years and was also group ofiieer and District Master of the Manchester Unity, 1.0.0. F., for the King Country. Mr. Copsey acted as joint manager of the King Country touring representative footballers on their recent trip South for the Ranfurly Shield match. He was very popular with all sections of the community. His death at the early age of 48 removes a worthy citizen whose loss will be keenly felt. Ho leaves a widow and daughter, aged 18 years, whose only relatives are in Cumberland, England.
