CHANCERY COURT ACTION.
LONDON, December 1,
After a hearing which lasted six days in the Chancery Court, Mr. Justice Maughan refused, a petition for the reorganisation of Dorinan Long and Company (builders of Sydney Harbour Bridge), involving a reduction of the capital of £11,248,000 to £1,750,000 and amalgamation with the South Durham Steel and Iron Company.
Subsequently Mr. Justice Bennett, in the Chancery Division, granted a debenture holder permission to apply for leave on December 8 to serve a motion to appoint a receiver for Dorman Irongs.
