FATALLY SCALDED.
TWO TARANAKI CHILDREN. DEATHS IN HOSPITAL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The death occurred at the Hawera Hospital of Joyce Isabel Collins, aged two and a half years, who was scalded through upsetting a pot of tea. Sydney George King, aged three years, died at the New Plymouth Hospital. The child overbalanced when sitting on top of the copper. The child's mother had just finished washing and saw him on the copper. She told him to get down, but he fell backwards.
