QUEENSLAND V. VICTORIA. BRISBANE, December 1. A Sheffield Shield cricket match between Queensland and Victoria was commenced in Brisbane to-day. Queensland batted first and when stumps were drawn had made 310 runs for nine wickets (Brew 102, Allen 36, Andrews 30).

CALCUTTA, December 1. The Marylcbone Cricket Club, 254 for six wickets and 60 for six wickets (Amar Singh four wickets for 41) beat Western India, 64 and 249, by four wickets.
