ORE BOYS WANTED.
POSITIONS ON FARMS. PROBLEM OF EMPLOYMENT. (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. A committee on vocational guidance reports that the satisfactory progress in placing girls and boys in employment in November easily set a record for girls, 41 being placed, while 47 boys also were given employment. A factor militating in some cases against employment was the low standard of education and of physical development. Farm work was offering f»ir more boys than were available. Strong intelligent lads of the type required were not willing to go farming.
