AUCKLAND'S MILK.
PROPOSALS IN BILL'. EVIDENCE TO BE HEARD. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. An assurance has been given Mr. W. J. Jordan (Labour —Manukau) by the Prime Minister that the Auckland Milk Bill will be considered as a local bill, and as such will be referred to committee, where evidence will be taken. Tlie bill proposes the formation of a Milk Board to control the sale of milk in the Auckland metropolitan area, to fix prices and to some extent control the areas of sale.
