COUNTRY BAKERS' DISPUTE
The dispute betwe.en the Auckland Country Bakers and the Auckland Union of Bakers (within a 21-mile radius) -was considered before the Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. P. Hally, on Tuesday, and occupied the whole of the day. The nnTon was represented by Mr. W. A. Howie, A. McArtliur, E. J. Watson and F. H. Bourke, the employers' ' assessors being Messrs. G. K. Matliieson, F. Findlay, ' LI" W. Faville and W. Herbert.. -/, • " ' The business was taken inrcommitte*, and tentative proposals were made by both parties covering the clauses in dispute. The further hearing was adjourned till Monday next.
