The Manurewa Methodist and Papakura Presbyterian lawn tennis clubs met at Papakura and Manurewa. the A's playing at Manurewa and the B's at Papakura. Both sections had a draw with six rubbers each, the Presbyterians winning on games by 176 to 107. The return matches will be played after the Christmas holidays.
