TRAMWAY BOARD.
Ch'RISTCHURCH ELECTION. KEEN INTEREST TAKEX. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Unprecedented interest is being taken in the election of the Tramway Board, which will be held to-morrow, and there has been a heavy enrolment of electors. Interest has been aroused by the effort made by the Labour party to gain control of the board, and in candidates' speeches and propaganda on both sides there have been references to the strike of last rear.
