VICTORIA LEAGUE.

GIRLS ENTERTAIN.

A successful private dance was given by the girls' committee of the Victoria League in the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening. During the winter this committee lias raised a goodly sum of money in various entertainments for the league, and this dance was the final social function of the year. The cabaret was fragrant with summer blooms, and excellent music combined to make the evening thoroughly enjoyable. Sweet peas and roses, with large bows of pink ribbons made the supper tables most attractive: The guests were received by Miss Mowbray, president of the league, who wore, a frock of black lace over silver lame, and Mrs. L. S. _ Rickerby, chairman of the girls' committee, who \voj - e a black crepe suede frock embroidered in jet arid gold. Miss Mowbray and Mrs. Rickerby were the recipients of Victorian posies from the girls. The committee present were: Mrs. R. Humphreys, iu white satin crepe; Mrs. Eric Webb, pale pink ninon; Miss Mary Cruicksliank, black and white fancy crepe suede; Miss Moira Gulliver, black lace and georgette; Miss Jean Kent, white organdie; Miss Olga Jackson, crimson ring velvet; Miss.
