1 RELATIONS WITH BRITAIN.

(Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, November 9,

Speaking at a mass meeting in Dublin Mr. de Valera said: "We have a duty towards the people to establish a Republic within five years. Before God we pledge ourselves to do so. We are in deadly earnest and any section of the community daring to cross our path must do bo over our dead bodies. . We are quite willing to co-operate with Britain, put we must be free to dictate our own policy."
