The second series of senior matches in tie Auckland City and Suburban Association's competition, first round, will be commenced at the Domain- to-morrow afternoon. On account of rain last Satur-day,.-the opening series of matches was inconclusive, no team being in a pisition to claim an advantage, and three draws being recorded. AUSTRALIANS IN FEBRUART.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day. It was reported by Mr. A. T. Donnelly at tlie annual meeting ot the New Zealand Cricket Council last night that the management committee hail sent to Australia two suggested itineraries for the team to visit .New Zealand. The proposal was that the team should arrive in New Zealand early in February and stay seven or eight weeks, two Test matches to be played, one at Dunedin and one at Wellington.
