POLO IN PROVINCE.
■ ■ NEW OFFICERS ELECTED. (By Teiegruph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day. The annual meeting of the Provincial Polo Association was held here last night. Tiie balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £1U 14/0. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. James Taylor; president, Mr. W. A. Fisher (re-elected); vicepresidents, presidents of each affiliated club; secretary, Mr. W. L. Kanstead; treasurer, Mr. E. J. F. Kennedy; auditor, Mr. A. R. Batchelor. The meeting expressed dissatisfaction with having to pay three guineas to the New Zealand Association for affiliation when polo was now onlv active in the Waikato. It was agreed to ask that the fee be reduced to one guinea.
The meeting decided to hold the next annual tournament at Cambridge in March.
