STATE FLOUR TAX.
TO BE DROPPED IN N.S.W. (Received 0.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. B. S. Stevens, announced in Melbourne that the State Government would not reimposc the State flour tax after the date of its expiry, December 31. It is understood that this decision is due to the probable imposition of a Federal tax of £0 a ton on flourMo assist the wheat growers.
