A RAILWAY SENSE.—"Jack," known as the Huntly station pilot, is owned by one of the porters. Since his puppy days he has followed his master round the station yards and shows remarkable intelligence when shunting operations are in progress. Together with his master he has even ridden on the cowcatcher of an engine.
