CAPTURE FOR HIGHFIELD.

London Highfielil on September 26 secured one of the most notable captures made by a Rugby League club when they signed W. B. Welsh, the famous Hawick and Scotland forward, who was out in New Zealand with the 1930 British Rugby Union team. Welsh, who is only 25, has won 20 international caps in'five years. Highfield also signed S. Oakley, the Wigan reserve full-back.
