Trott's figures include runs made and wickets taken in first-class cricket in Australia before he qualified for Middlesex. Harry had gone Home with J. M. Blackham's 1893 eleven, and after the Englishmen won the first two Tests of the return visit in 1894-5 Albert was also brought into the Australian side. He played live innings in the next three games, Australian winning the third and fourth, but going down by six wickets in the final Test. Albert's innings were 38, 72, 80 (all three not out), 10 and 0. This gave him an aggregate of 206 for twice out, an average of 103! This is, however, not a record Test average.
