City and Suburban. — Rain Again Interferes.—Balance of Senior Draw. The new season of play at the Domain has not been inaugurated with the best of fortune for the Auckland City and Suburban Association as far as the weather is concerned. To sonic extent the opening day's play last Saturday was marred by rain which set in within an hour and a half and stumps were drawn at f>.35 p.m. instead of at 0 p.m., the scheduled stopping time. The heavy rain last night and again this morning made conditions impossible for resumption of the first scries of matches which will bo resumed next week. The balance of the draw for the first round of the senior grade is as follows: Second scries: Mt. Albert Grammar Old Boys v. Ponsonby; Green Lane v. Harbour Board; 3\lt. Roskill v. ~R.V. Third series: Mt. Albert v. Mt. Roskill; Green Lane v. Ponsonby; R.V. v. Harbour Board. Fourth series: Mt. Albert v. R.V.; Green Lane a-. Mt. Roskill; Ponsonby v. Harbour Board. Fifth series: Mt.
