REV. ALEXANDER MILLER.

With the .passing of the Rev. Alex. Miller, in Sydney, Auckland has lost a third minister of the Presbyterian Church with tragic and unexpected swiftness and within a. very few weeks. There is something particularly pathetic about the suddenness of Mr. McDonald's death in the Homeland and of Mr. Miller's in Australia, and it was only the other day that Mr. Miller seemed in the best of Jiealth and spirits when he bade farewell to the presbytery and set off for what he hoped was to be his home for years to come. He will be missed by none more than by the members of the Balmoral Church, who still have happy recollections of his ministry among them.
