WOOL THIEF CAUGHT.
MARRIED MAN CONVICTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Friday.' When wool was found on several occasions to be missing from a local store, two employees volunteered to' sit up all night in an attempt to apprehend the thief. A sequel was a case heard in the Police • Court tp-day, when a married- man, whose name was suppressed, 'was convicted of theft. He was placed on probation for two years and ordered to make restitution of £2.
