COMMERCE CHAMBER.
OFFICERS AT WHAKATANE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAKATANE, this day. The Wliakatane Chamber of Commerce held its annual meeting last evening. Officers were elected as follows: —President, Mr. G. Adler; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. J. Canning and G. A. Brabant; executive, Messrs. C. S. Armstrong, B. S. Barry, E. Beckett, W. E. Bridger, C. E. Gibberd, H. G. Rand and A. C. Sutherland; secretary, Mr. H. O. Garaway. The executive was authorised to go into the possibility of starting a junior chamber of commerce.
