The annual match between teams representing the Auckland and Auckland Ladies' Golf Club? was played at Middlemore yesterday, the men -winning by four games to three, one being all square. Results : —Miss Culling lost to H. Plumley, 2 down; Mrs. J. M. Wilson and W. S. Ralph, all square; Mrs. K. Rutherford beat R. G. Rainger, 2 and 1; Mrs. Ralph beat S. S. Wilson, 4 and 3 ; Mrs. Buttle lost to J. P. Aldied, 1 down; Miss MacCormick beat G. C. Henderson, 5 and 4; Miss Cooper lost to Dr. Borrie, 4 and 3; Mrs. Abbott lost to A. B. M. Rhind, 5 and 3.

The Maucgakiekie Ladies' Golf Club will hold its official closing day next Wednesday. A medal handicap match and a consolation match for prizes presented by Mrs. B.
