SHOPKEEPER FINED £2. On a summons charge of selling milk containing less than 31 per cent of milk fat, Olivo Morgan appeared in the Police Court this morning and pleaded guilty. The Health Department's inspector said defendant kept a small shop. The milk was low in fat for want of stirring. There was no suggestion of adulteration. Mr. Allan Moody, who appeared for defendant, said the woman kept a small shffp and only obtained three gallons of milk daily. Those who got the lirst milk got the best. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.: Yes, and those who camo last got the poor quality because it was not stirred. Defendant was fined £2 and costs.
