RESERVE BANK BILL.
REPLY BY PREMIER
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. An indication that the passage of the Bcserve Bank Bill will not prejudice further inquiries into monetary and currency matters has been given by the Prime Minister, the lit. Hon. G. W. Forbes, in reply to a motion of protest forwarded to him yesterday by the executive of the Wliangarei sub-provin-cial branch of the Farmers' Union. Mr. Forbes has replied to Mr. Briscoo Moore, the president, as follows: "It is not considered that tho Reserve Bank Bill is being pushed through the House, as suggested, as the measure has already been before the country and Parliament Cor an adequate time. "Its enactment in no way prejudices further inquiry into monetary and currency matters."
