BRITISH MUSICAL FILM.
"THE LITTLE DAMOZEL."
It was in keeping with the remainder of all concerned in the making of the British picture, "The Little Damozel," which comes to the Majestic Theatre tomorrow, that the world-famous producer of over a dozen plays and musical revues, should be chosen to write many of the musical numbers in this film. This is Noel Coward, who has supplied charming Anna Neagle was the necessary music and songs that are said to contribute a great deal toward making "The Little Damozel" one of the most entertaining films. Written by Monckton Hoffe, "The Little Damozel," with the aid of Coward, has been produced on the screen as a musical romance, centred about the strangest bargain of hearts ever conceived. Beautiful Anna Neagle, a celebrated English musical comedy star, has James Rennie, the handsome New York stage star, opposite her in the leading male role. James Rennie is a comparative newcomer to the English screen. Athole Stewart, Benita Hume and Alfred Drayton fulfil stellar parts in the cast.
