MYSTERY AIRSHIP.

FRENCH OFFICER'S STORY. PARIS, November 1. A startling story to the effect that a foreign airship of the Zeppelin type was seen spying over France is told by a senior military officer in "Le Petit Journal." The writer states that on the night of August 30-September 1, the airship flew over the artillery works at Salbris, and those on board inspected the ground with searchlights. It must have crossed almost one-third of France. It was flying high and showed no lights.
