BURMA'S FUTURE.
NEW CONSTITUTION ISSUE. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, November 1. An invitation from the Secretary of State for India, Sir Samuel Hoare, to join the delegation from Burma for consultation on the question of the future constitution of Burma has been accepted by 12 representative persons. They include seven Burmans, one European, one Anglo-Indian, two Indians and one woman. They are expected to assemble in London early in December. The joint Select Committee on Indian Constitutional Reforms will cease to exist when the present session of Parliament, which created it, comes to an end. The committed will probably be reconstructed when the new session opens on November 21. It is anticipated that the new delegates will then be associated with the committee in the same way as the Indians during recent months. The new delegates comprise advocates and opponents of separation from India.
