A LONELY VOYAGE.

BRITISH V.C. IN SMALL YACHT. (British Offichil Wireless.) RUGBY, November 1. Group Captain Lionel Rees, V.C., arrived at Nassau, in the Bahamas, yesterday, after having sailed alone in his ei"ht-ton vacht from Falmouth, via the Azores. The voyage from the Azores took 64 days. Captain Bees won the Victoria Cross during the Great War for attacking single-handed 10 enemy aeroplanes, bringing down two. He continued to fight 5 , although he was severely wounded, until the other eight machines scattered.
