The Waimarino arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Timaru, and proceeds thence to Wellington, Picton and Auckland. The Wairuna is expected on Tuesday from Nukualofa. The Wingatui leaves Bluff to-morrow for Auckland, via Dunedin. Timaru, Lyttelton, possibly Picton. and Wellington. The Government steamer Matai is visiting East Coast and Northern lighthouses. She is due at Auckland about November d. The Port Huon sailed for Dunedin and Bluff last evening to complete unloading cargo from London. She will leave Auckland on November 30 for London. The Tamaroa left Gisborne for Auckland this morning to complete loading at the Central wharf for Southampton ana London. She is expected at six o clock to-morrow morning. The Oceanic liner Monterey is due from San Francisco, via Los Angeles, Honolulu, Pago Pago and Suva, at 7 a.m. to-morrow with passengers and mails. She will berth at the Prince's wharf, and continues her voyage to Sydney at 5 p.m. the same day. With 44.000 Australian hardwood ties, the Abel Tasmau, a steamer belonging to the H.C.S. Coasters' Proprietary, Ltd., arrived at Auckland this morning from Newcastle. The vessel was formerly named the Nord, under Norwegian owners. Half her cargo is for discharge at Wellington. After leaving Newcastle on the night of October 26 the ship encountered heavy weather for two days, after which, conditions were moderate. Captain C. G. Turner is master. The chief officer is Sir. W. Archibald, and the chief engineer Sir. I). Washington. This is the vessel's first visit to New Zealand waters. MONOWAI'S PASSENGERS.
