Science Puts an End to Stomach Pains. Relief by New Drugless Product. Stomach Gas and Acids Removed by Absorption. At last medical science has done something for those who suffer from indigestion. It has just produced a new drugless remedy that gives instant relief from the torture of heartburn, acidity, stomach gas, etc. The name given to this new product is Chardox. It is a highly refined and extremely active form of charcoal. It is common knowledge that medicinal charcoal has been prescribed as a remedy for digestive disturbances for very many years. But the trouble with ordinary "medicinal charcoal is that its power of absorption is strictly limited. Consequently, very large doses of it are necessary before it can give the desired relief. Chardox is at least fifty times more active than ordinary medicinal charcoal, and has fifty times'its power of absorption. .So minutely fine are the particles of Chardox that, when a dose of two or three tablets is taken, the tiny particles immediately spread themselves over the entire surface of the digestive tract. The Chardox particles at once attract and draw into their absorbent surfaces the gas, the acid, and the harmful poisons. In but a few minutes the chief causes of stomach pain have gone. Then, with the acid and gas locked in its grip, every speck of Chardox is eliminated— for Chardox cannot be assimilated by the organs of the body. Although the finally approved form of Chardox lias been available for general use for but a short tirae, supplies of it are already on sale in New Zealand. Most chemists and stores have stocks — they sell it in boxes containing 48 tablets, at 2/- a box.
