KING'S EMPIRE VETERANS.

At the quarterly meeting of the King's Empire Veterans, held yesterday, when Captain I. A. Algie presided, feeling references were made by the members to the deaths of their late secretary and treasurer, Mr. John A. Beale, Mr. Sandbrook, Mr. "Lyon Wise and Lord Ranfurly, the founder of the association. Captain Henry Raby undertook to act as secretary and treasurer. The annual social was arranged to be held in December.
