PRESENTATION.
MR. JOHN* PIERCY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, this day. Mr. John Piercy, who had been on the staff of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company since operations were commenced, at Tauranga 26 years ago, retired on a pension on Saturday. Mr. J. Brown, Bay of Plenty manager, made a staff presentation of a case of pipes to Mr. Piercy, and spoke of his faithful and continuous service to the company.
