MANSLAUGHTER SENTENCE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) ■ MELBOURNE, this day. Sentence of five years' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed on Leo Starr for the manslaughter of his aunt, Katherino Starr. Mr. Justice Wasley, in passing sentence, said lie had deliberately withheld his verdict for, a week so that ho would not be unduly influenced by tho revolting circumstances of the case. The victim, whose head was terribly injured, lived alone at Tarrawingee.
