Bonus to 2800 Italian Couples , From Bachelor Tax. 1000-LIRE BANKNOTES. . (Received 12 noon.) ROME, October 30. The mass weddings announced to take place in Rome on October 28 totalled 2800. Each couple received a 1000-lire banknote—drawn, appropriately, from the coffers of the bachelor tax, which Signor Mussolini will probably increase next 3'ear, in his endeavour to encourage more marriages.
