Cricket Bat did a mile alone in 1.40 4-s—a smart performance. Cleaner registered 1.38 while doing an easy seven furlongs. Fracas covered half a nine in 535. Rational 11. and Ringing Cheer ran six furlongs in 1.19. Silvox went a mile and a quarter in 2.11, High Raiik joining in for the ' last mile, wnicil occupied 1.44 1-5. Red Manfred traversed a mile in 1.42 3-5, the last half taking 50 3-ss. Guarantee, with Red Dance over the last half-mile, ran seven furlongs in 1.29 1-5. Silent Flight, Horn's Reef and Pin Money covered half a mile brilliantly in 48 l-ss. Copyist ran a mile in l-» 2-5, and Control and Custodian halt a mile along the back in 525. Croupier beat Hurlingham over five furlongs in 1-, and Heather Glow beat Falkland easily over a mile. Tout le Mond and Rocket were on terms,, beating Night ilyer oy three lengths, over a mile and a quarter in '2.14 3-5. The pace was slow early, the last mile taking 1.47, and the la>>t half-mile 535. Bright Shade, with Red Arrow over the last part, ran a mile in 1.47. Monastic brought home Ruling Pen, who ran seven furlongs in 1.0 l i;j>.
