DENIED BY GIRL.
I LIAISON STORY IF SPY TRIAL. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 29. Mr. J. McGovern, M.P. (Lab., Sliettleston), who says ho has fresh evidence in the Baillie-Stewart case, claims to have established, beyond doubt the identity of "Marie Louise" as Olga Israel, an attractive 23-year-old Jewess living with wealthy parents in Berlin. He says she had an affair with Baillie-Stewart, but was not in any way connected •with the court-martial. The Berlin correspondent of the "Sunday Express" says he interviewed Olga Israel, who flatly denied Mr. McGovern's allegation that she is "Marie. Louise." The girl said: "I am supposed to be like her, that is all. It is terrible that I should be singled out. I never saw Baillie-Stewart in my life." It has been reported twice that "Marie Louise" died, oncc in Switzerland and once in Holland. The "Sunday Chronicle" states that it is informed that a rehearing of the Baillie-Stewart trial is . unlikely, as the military authorities are satisfied that they established the identity of "Marie Louise."
