The tennis matches between the English visiting team and Wellington representatives -were continued to-day at Miramar in fine, but windy weather. Wilde (Britain) beat R. Ferkins, of Wellington, o—3, 6—o. Perkins made the mistake of concentrating on Wilde's backhand and was ■ repeatedly aced by fast shots down the sideline. Wilde took the net behind drives to Ferkins' backhand corner and he volleyed any returns to the opposite corner, leaving Ferkins helpless. ■-,*•'•' Perry (England) beat Malfro'y (Wellington), G—l, 6—l. Perry outclassed the New Zcalander in all departments of the game.
