Output from January 1 to October 9, 028,000 bales, against 634,000. for the period last year. Stocks in the United Kingdom at October 1, 6081 bales, against 23,307 at same time lust year. . Stocks in.Manila at October 9 140,000 bales, against 130.000 for the same period last year. • Sisal :• Market steadier. Value for October-December shipment. £17 5/. New Zealand: Market quiet. Small business,has 'been done lor OctobeivDecember shipment fair grade at £13 15/, and common grade at £12 15/, Stocks in London' at October 1, .44 tons, against 82 tons same time last year. Eggs.—Market firm with upward tend: ency.
