NEW LYNN INSTITUTE.

The monthly meeting was held in the Foresters' Hall, New Lynn, Mrs. Geo. Laweon presiding. Remits for the federation meeting were discussed and the delegate instructed. In the absence of Mrs. Carr Smith through illness, Mrs. Howden gave a very pleasant talk on the work of the Hospital Auxiliary, which was greatly appreciated by the members. Mrs. Piatt gave two very nice vocal items, and the hostesses were Mesdames Piatt, Andrews and Siddle.
