ROYAL SHOW.
GOOD SUPPORT ASSURED. HAWKE'S BAY ENTHUSIASTIC. A satisfactory measure of .support is assured from tlie Hawke's Bay and Poverty Bay districts for the Royal Show to be held in Auckland on February 8, 9 and 10 next year. Mr. W. F, O'Donnell, secretary of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association, found farmers enthusiastic when he met them at the show at Tomoana this week. This morning he described the excellence of the show on the East Coast, and considered that Tomoana has the foremost showground in the Dominion. "There was a remarkable attendance, and the collection of cars was perhaps the largest in New Zealand for such an occasion. Mr. O'Donnell expects a g9od response at the Royal' Show in sections for Herefords; Polled Angus,' Shorthorns, Aber-deen-Angus and Southdowns from the districts he visited. A feature, of the exhibits will be some Polled Herefords from the Poverty Bay district. This will bo the first time the breed, has been shown in Auckland. The animals were imported fr<#n America. Several radical alterations to the layout of the grounds and buildings will be made at Epsom in ti.uio for the Royal Show.
