BILLY O'REILLY.
May Be a Nightmare to English Batsmen. Bill O'Reilly, of Xorth Sydney, fa making his position se.cure for the English tour, and it is difficult to see how' he can possibly miss it, no matter what may happen during the season's big fixtures, writes C. G. Macartney in the Sydney "Sportsman." Personally, I think that the big fellow is improving week, by week. When I saw him bowling at Newcastle early last month, I was agreeably surprised with the various deliveries he utilised in an over. Several of those deliveries were absent from his repertoire when I hatted against 'hint in the previous season. Bowling as he is at the present, O'Reilly should be a' nightmare to English batsmen, especially if the summer should be damp, which is very probable after the dry one experienced this year.
