NEW LYNN CLUB.
The official opening of the New Lynn Club was held this afternoon at New Lynn, when the president, Mr. J. E. \vebster, welcomed a number of -visitors, including ninny members or other cflibs. Air. Parker Mill, representing the Auckland centre. Miss Burnt Cutler, Uie Bowler*' Queen, threw up the hrst jack, while Mrs. J. E. Webster played the iirst bowl. The* president then declared the green open l'or the season. The croquet green was also opened by Mr. Webster, whose wife is president of the club. Results are as follow :—Taylor, Laing, Westreii, Parker Hill 23, v. Cathie, ■ Oborn, Cutlej, Webster 24; Dormer, Jeffrey, Black, Thompson 13, v. Barker, Eduey, James," Cairns 25; ' Taylor, Williams, Willotc, Masscy 19, v. Anderson, Morgan, Johnston, Witliam 32; McDonnell, George, Malani, Rankin 17, v. Walker, Ferguson, Edgerley, Matliieson 20; George, Lingard, Dove 23, v. Hodgen, Busson, Collard 24.
